Started the day with the news. Ended up making our own.
Packed in a bus, carrying big plans and zero clues.
First stop: food. Priorities were already clear.
The fire worked harder than all of us combined.
One game before the adventure. That was the plan.
Then one meal. Because plans change.
Finally, we started walking.
The hill immediately started winning.
Worth turning around for this view though.
Even the photographers needed a break.
The trail kept asking, "Still having fun?"
Some parts felt better alone.
And some views felt earned.
At this point, the mountain felt like home.
So we stayed a little longer.
Then the forest called us forward.
Just two friends and a lot of walking.
The world looked pretty big from up there.
And we looked like a tiny moving snake.
Crunching leaves became our soundtrack.
Somehow, the energy never dropped.
Maybe because every break felt this good.
Good views are better with good people.
Especially when the trail gets spicy.
Which somehow led to all of us in a tree.
Proof that nobody said no.
Then gravity wanted its turn.
Luckily, everyone survived for the group photo.
Back to pretending we were serious trekkers.
The umbrella became part of the team.
Even the locals came to check us out.
Then we found free snacks.
Some fresher than others.
Quality control was required.
The mountains kept showing off.
So we paused and looked up.
Fashion on the trail got out of control.
Nobody was acting normal anymore.
From far away, we almost looked sensible.
Almost.
The feet demanded a cooling break.
Tiny treasures appeared.
Then somebody shared one chip like gold.
Which turned into snacks for everyone.
A proper trail feast.
Meanwhile, the road was still under construction.
And so were our lungs.
Some places carried old stories.
But the climb kept going.
Then the mountain sneezed.
A very big sneeze.
Suddenly everyone discovered hidden speed.
Fastest sprint of the entire trip.
After the chaos, some quiet felt nice.
Until somebody climbed another tree.
And everyone followed.
Then the tree became an amusement park.
With a pretty decent view too.
Nobody wanted to leave.
The river finally slowed things down.
Cold water fixed everything.
Even the tired faces disappeared.
Confidence level: two thumbs up.
Happiness was getting difficult to hide.
Then the water fight started.
There were no winners.
Only wetter losers.
Drinks needed cooling too.
Mission accomplished.
One big photo before goodbye.
Just in case the first one wasn't enough.
Then came the reward meal.
Along with stories that got bigger by the minute.
The ride home was pure chaos.
One last stop before the end.
From morning news to evening lassi. Not a bad day after all.
